Toyota, Panasonic to set EV battery JV in 2020
Toyota will hold 51% stake, the rest 49% will rest with Panasonic
Toyota and Panasonic have decided to set up a new joint venture (JV) for development and manufacturing of automotive prismatic batteries by the end of 2020, Toyota announced in a press release today (22 January).
