Integration will allow drivers to access Alexa on WebLink-enabled in-vehicle infotainment systems

Abalta Technologies has announced plans to integrate Amazon Alexa into its connected car platform WebLink, the US-based company said in a press release. The integration will allow drivers to access Alexa on WebLink-enabled in-vehicle infotainment systems. To do that, drivers will simply need to pair their smartphone and link their Amazon account. Once enabled, drivers can ask to play music, get directions, check news and weather, control smart home device— all while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
