BASF gets EU's conditional approval to acquire Solvay's polyamide business
Acquisition expected to close in the second half of 2019 upon fulfillment of all remaining conditions, including the sale of a remedy package to a third party
German chemical company has received conditional approval from the European Commission (EC) for its previously announced acquisition of Solvay’s polyamide business, BASF announced in a press release on 18 January.
