HERE to supply live traffic data for Audi vehicles in Europe, North America

Mapping company to also offer its Real Time Traffic Service to Mercedes-Benz vehicles in North and South America and select markets in Asia Pacific

Audi has selected HERE Technologies as its traffic data service provider for its all new models sold across North America and Europe, HERE said in a press release earlier this month. The two companies entered a multi-year agreement under which HERE will supply its ‘HERE Real Time Traffic Service’ on Audi vehicle, starting in the first half of this year. HERE Real Time Traffic Service will offer drivers of the new Audi vehicles up-to-the-minute information about road conditions and incidents. Apart from the new Audi vehicles, HERE will offer service to the Volkswagen Group’s Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Porsche brands.
