EV car-sharing project ‘InclusivEV Demonstrator’ launches service in UK town Solihull
Project aims to widen access to EVs through affordable car-sharing service
Last month, the ‘InclusivEV Demonstrator’ project launched its first electric car-sharing service in Silhoull, West Midlands (United Kingdom), according to a press release by Cenex on 28 January. The fleet comprises 18 Renault ZOE zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) and is operated by E-Car Club working in conjunction with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and Solihull Community Housing. Residents in Silhoull will be able to hire these electric cars to meet their daily mobility requirement at the cost of GBP3.50 per hour (USD4.6).
