Sono Motor partners with Bosch for connectivity solutions in Sion EV
Bosch will supply central control unit and a software-based solution for intelligent networking in Sono’s first electric car
Electric vehicle (EV) start-up Sono Motors has partnered with Bosch to provide connectivity solutions for its Sion electric car, Sono said in a press release on 30 January. Bosch will supply the Sion’s central control unit and a software-based solution for its intelligent networking. The control unit from Bosch Automotive Cloud Suite will manage data connection in the Sion electric car. The cloud suite will also support a number of functions in goSono app from Sono Motors. Cloud connectivity will also serve as a basis for digital mobility services such as charging electric cars and the eCall automated emergency call function.
