Korean automaker launched a pilot run in Amsterdam deploying 100 units of its Ioniq electric car

Hyundai is exploring launching a car-sharing service using its own electric vehicles (EV), Automotive News Europe reported last week citing Wonhong Cho, chief marketing officer of the South Korean automaker as saying. “We are thinking about a possible subscription model for EVs,” Cho told the publication during the CES 2019 in Las Vegas (United States), last week. Hyundai will own the EV fleet and the users will pay the tariff according to the distance travelled, time in use or energy consumption.
