NHTSA says in 2018, automakers recalled 50.36 million inflators and replaced 27.3 million units of them

Automakers Subaru, Tesla, BMW, Volkswagen, Daimler and Ferrari are recalling 1.7 million vehicles to replace defective airbag inflators supplied by Takata, Associated Press (AP) reported on 8 February.
