US 2018 Hemp Bill clearing the way for a lighter and cheaper material alternative.

Natural fibers derived from plant stalks or leaves have long been used for industrial purposes especially in the textile and medicine industry. However, plant fibers have been finding other important functions such as being used as matrix components for composites for the construction industry. The use of natural plant based fibers into composites is not new. In fact, eco-friendly composites have long been a focus for all the industries.
