France plans to invest USD790 million in EV battery production
Investment is expected to be made over next five years
The French government is planning to invest EUR700 million (USD790 million) in electric vehicle (EV) battery cell production, Reuters reported on 14 February, citing a statement by French president Emmanuel Macron.
