Mobile World Congress 2019: Continental, Vodafone to showcase progress in joint development of smart vehicle connectivity solutions
Two partners are looking at commercialization of their jointly developed connectivity solution by next year
At the 2019 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (Spain) next week, Continental and Vodafone will showcase their progress in the joint development of smart vehicle connectivity solutions, the company said in a press release on 21 February. In June 2018, the two companies had entered partnership to develop connectivity solutions that improve safety and reduces accidents. In Barcelona, Continental and Vodafone will demonstrate first result of cooperation in the fields of advanced communication technologies such as 5G, cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) and mobile edge computing.
