Volkswagen (VW) collaborates with Trustonic to secure virtual key sharing app
VW is using Trustonic Application Protection (TAP) platform to secure its We Connect smartphone app and Trusted User Interface (TUI) to securely display information to the user
Volkswagen (VW) has teamed up with Trustonic, a UK-based company specializing in mobile cybersecurity, to enable its customers use smartphone to access their vehicles securely, Trustonic said in a press release on 22 February. The collaboration will also allow VW vehicle owners to securely share their digital car keys with others to grant access to their vehicles via a smartphone app.
