Main aim of project is to develop a solid-state battery that enables a stable charging and discharging cycle at room temperature

Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA) and Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research (ISC) have partnered to next generation solid-state traction batteries for electric cars, EMPA announced in a press release on 22 February.
