NXP launches network processing chipset to unlock value of connected vehicle data
MPC-LS chipset brings together real-time and applications processing along with automotive and enterprise networking technologies
At the Embedded World 2019 in Nuremberg (Germany) earlier this week, NXP Semiconductors launched a network processing chipset to unlock value of connected vehicle data, the company said in a press release on 26 February. The MPC-LS chipset, designed for centrally-located in-vehicle gateways, combines the NXP automotive MPC5748G microcontroller and enterprise networking LS1043A communications processor to offer performance and networking required for service oriented gateways.
