Volkswagen to open new battery recycling pilot plant in Germany
Plant will become operational in 2020 with initial capacity for 1,200 tons per year
Volkswagen (VW) has announced that it will open a new electric vehicle (EV) battery pilot recycling plant at Salzgitter factory in Germany, according to a company press release last month.
