Faurecia announces success of tender offer for acquisition of Clarion
French supplier will implement the squeeze-out procedure to acquire all the remaining shares of the Japanese supplier
Faurecia has announced success of its tender offer which was launched to acquire Clarion. According to a press release by the French supplier on 1 March, 95.28% of Clarion’s shareholders tendered their share to Faurecia’s offer of JPY2,500 (USD22.33) per share. This also includes shared tendered by the largest shareholder Hitachi, which own 63.8% in Clarion. Faurecia will settle the share purchase on 7 March. After that, the French supplier will implement the squeeze-out procedure to acquire all the remaining shares of Clarion.
