HERE to offer map data for Volvo Cars
HERE will be providing Volvo with cloud data that helps in geolocating vehicles as well as data that manages geographic location information within Volvo’s cloud
HERE Technologies has signed a multi-year map data supply agreement with Volvo Cars, the company said in a press release last week. Under the agreement, the company will provide its ‘HERE Map Data’ for off-board cloud services. The Swedish carmaker plans to deploy the services in its own cloud environment to deliver enhanced vehicle performance and driver experience.
