Cabin insulation designers are required to go back to the drawing board to tackle this disruptive change in cabin noise management
A couple of decades ago, cabin insulation suppliers’ research to trim down noise entering the cabin revolved completely around the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) as one of the major noise sources. However, as electric vehicles (EVs) gain traction, with mostly pure electric slated to replace ICE as the next phase of automotive shift, cabin insulation designers are required to go back to the drawing board to tackle this disruptive change in cabin noise management.
