The United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT) National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA) is seeking public comment on General Motors’ (GM) petition to approve deployment of a limited number of self-driving cars without steering wheels or other human controls, NHTSA said in a press release on 15 March.
