Hyundai Kia invests USD300 million in Indian ride-hailing service provider Ola
Three partners also agree to collaborate on developing fleet and mobility solutions, building EVs and charging infrastructure for the Indian market
Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) has reached strategic partnership with Indian ride-hailing service provider Ola, the Korean automotive group said in a press release today (19 March). Under the agreement, Hyundai and Kia—the two automakers of HMG—have agreed to collaborate on developing fleet and mobility solutions, building electric vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure for the Indian market. In addition, Hyundai and Kia will provide interested driver partners of Ola with customized vehicles. As part of the agreement, Hyundai and Kia have decided to make a combine investment USD300 million in Ola.
