Japanese automaker is already using NVIDIA Drive AGX Xavier car computer platform to power its autonomous vehicle testing in the real world

Toyota has expanded its cooperation with NVIDIA in the field of autonomous driving. At the 2019 GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, California (United States) this week, Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (TRI-AD), a subsidiary of the Japanese automaker, announced a new collaboration to use NVIDIA Drive Constellation virtual reality simulation to develop, train and validate autonomous vehicles.
