Volvo Cars to introduce ‘Care Key’ on all cars as standard feature
New safety feature enables Volvo car owners to set a speed limit for themselves, their family members, and friends
Volvo Cars has introduced ‘Care Kay’, a new safety feature that enable Volvo car owners to set a speed limit for themselves, their family members and friends, the Swedish carmaker said in a press release on 20 March. The new feature allows the Volvo car owners to set limitations on their cars’ top speed before lending their cars to others including to younger or inexperienced drivers such as teenagers who has just received their driving license. Volvo will make Car Key a standard feature on all new cars from model year 2021.
