Volkswagen, Northvolt form European Battery Union consortium with other partners
The joint research activities are expected to start from the beginning of 2020
Volkswagen (VW) Group has teamed up with electric vehicle (EV) battery supplier Northvolt and other European companies to establish the European Battery Union (EBU) consortium to conduct joint research in EV battery technology, the German automaker said in a press release on 21 March.
