TRI-AD, Maxar and NTT DATA join forces to develop HD Maps for autonomous vehicles
Three companies will work together to process satellite imagery into HD maps
Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (TRI-AD), Maxar Technologies and NTT DATA have agreed to collaborate on a proof of concept (POC) building automated high-definition (HD) map for autonomous driving vehicles suing high-resolution satellite imagery, Toyota said in a press release today (25 April). In this POC, the three companies will work together to process satellite imagery into HD maps.
