Hyundai Mobis’s Q1 net income up 4.3% y/y to USD419 million
Korean supplier reported 89% y/y growth in Electrification
Hyundai Mobis’s net income increased 4.3% year-over-year (y/y) to KRW486 billion (USD419 million) in the first quarter ended 31 March 2019, the leading South Korean automotive supplier said in a press release on 26 April. Net sales in the quarter increased 6.6% y/y to KRW8.73 trillion. Higher sales helped Hyundai Mobis to record operating growth of KRW494 billion, up 9.8% y/y, and operating margin of 5.7%.
