Porsche to acquire majority stake in German software firm Cetitec
Acquisition is expected to offer Porsche access to a digital vehicle infrastructure
Porsche has acquired a majority stake in Germany-based software firm Cetitec, the carmaker said in a press release on 9 May. Cetitec specialises in software development for automotive platform and has around 100 employees. The acquisition is in response to increasing importance and growing complexity of software and electronics in vehicles. It is expected to give Porsche access to a digital vehicle infrastructure.
