Cree selected as silicon carbide partner for VW’s strategic supplier network ‘FAST’
Use of silicon carbide accelerates the automotive industry’s transformation to electric vehicles
The Volkswagen Group (VW) has selected Cree as its exclusive silicon carbide (SiC) partner for its Future Automotive Supply Track (FAST) Initiative, the US-based SiC specialist said in a press release on 14 May. VW’s selection of Cree reflects the growing adoption of SiC in the semiconductor market.
