HERE joins Uptane Alliance for automotive security
The alliance is working to standardize Uptane open-source software for security of OTA software updates for vehicles
HERE Technologies has joined the Uptane Alliance which is working in area of enhancing security of over-the-air (OTA) software updates in vehicles, the company said in a press release on 28 May. Established in July 2018, the Uptane Alliance is a consortium of automotive companies, security researchers from academia and government working to standardize Uptane open-source software for security of OTA software updates for vehicles and other edge devices and infrastructure.
