Invest Ottawa opens new connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) test facilities
Invest Ottawa invested CAD11 million in the new test facilities
Invest Ottawa, in collaboration with the Government of Ontario and strategic partners, has opened a new connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) test facilities in Ottawa Greenbelt (Canada), according to a press release by Invest Ottawa last month. The Ottawa L5 Connected and Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) Test Facilities comprise of a 16-kilometer public track and 9-kilometer of private CAV test track to allow companies to test their vehicles in true four-season weather climate with temperature ranging from +37 to -38 degree Celsius.
