NXP, Momenta collaborate to develop driver monitoring solutions
The first solution from the two partners will combine NXP’s S32V2 Open Vision Platform with Momenta’s deep learning software and expertise
NXP Semiconductors has teamed up with Momenta, a Chinese start-up developing software for self-driving cars, to develop automotive-grade driver monitoring solutions (DMS), the Netherlands-based company said in a press release on 5 June. According to NXP, these solutions will form the basis of the systems that monitor driver attentiveness and play a key role in improving safety on the road.
