Mahindra & Mahindra invests USD28.8 million to build new EV powertrain plant in India
Plant to have capacity to produce battery, motor, transmission, power electronics for 50,000 vehicles a year
Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) is planning to invest INR2 billion (USD28.8 million) in a new electric vehicle (EV) powertrain plant in Chakan, Maharashtra in India, Pawan Goenka, president of M&M said on twitter on 5 June.
