Applied Information, Commsignia deploy V2X technology at traffic signals in Washington DC

Six traffic signals along the New York Avenue in Washington, D.C were equipped with Applied Information’s Glance AI-500-085 devices to provide network connectivity and SPaT data to Commsignia ITS-RS4-D V2X RSUs

Earlier this month during the Intelligent Transportation Society (ITS) of America annual meeting (4-7 June), Applied Information and Commsignia jointly held live demonstration of cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) infrastructure communication between traffic signals and vehicles traveling along New York Avenue in Washington, D.C., Commsignia said in a press release.
