Infineon develops monolithically integrated linear Hall sensor for automotive applications
New sensor is ideal for use in electric steering system, electric throttle control system and pedal applications
Infineon Technologies has developed XENSIV™ TLE4999I3, a monolithically integrated leaner Hall sensor for automotive applications, the company said in a press release on 17 June. The sensor enables the development of fault-tolerant systems that needs to meet the highest level of functional safety, ASIL D. Apart from the functional safety, the TLE4999I3 offers very high magnetic sensitivity with an error tolerance of less than 2%. Infineon will display its new Hall Sensor at the Sensor+Test 2019 trade fair in Nuremberg (Germany) next week (25-27 June).
