Trinseo shows lightweight vehicle exterior solution at 2019 Automotive Materials Summit
New PC/ABS offers advanced flow properties, which not only permit thin walls and but also ensures greater design flexibility for large and long moldings
Trinseo is presenting its new mineral fiber-reinforced polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC/ABS) for use in lightweight automotive exterior components at the 2019 Automotive Materials Summit currently (17-18 June) taking place in Munich (Germany), the company said in a press release. The new solution delivers low co-efficient of thermal expansion (CLTE) value to ensure the high dimensional stability required for vehicle design that have low tolerance gap.
