Renault, Nissan enter agreement with Waymo to explore driverless mobility in Japan and France
Renault and Nissan will set up dedicated joint-venture (JV) companies to promote exploration process
Renault and Nissan have signed an agreement with Waymo to explore driverless mobility services in France and Japan, Renault and Nissan said in a joint press release today (20 June). The three partners entered an exclusive agreement for a specified period to consider all aspects, including legal, commercial and regulatory, for use of self-driving vehicles for moving people and goods in these two countries.
