Advanced electrolyte enables Li-ion batteries to perform well in a wide temperature range from −40°C to 60°C

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) researchers have developed new functional electrolytes containing multiple additives for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), news website Green Car Congress reported on 20 June citing a paper published in the journal ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.
