German supplier filed for bankruptcy as its family owners and French private equity group Ardian failed to reach on consensus over right restructuring strategy

Weber Automotive has filed for insolvency after it ran into financial difficulties, Reuters reported on 8 July. The Germany-based company supplies key drive system components including engine blocks, cylinder heads and drive housing. The company operates manufacturing plants in Germany, Hungary and the United States, employing 1,500 people.
