Noot Personenvervoer has become the first municipality in Netherlands to operate a fleet of FCEVs

Last month, Toyota delivered 35 units of its Mirai fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) to Noot Personenvervoer, a municipality in The Hague, the Netherlands. The Noot Personenvervoer municipality will operate these FCEVs in a taxi fleet. Mirai FCEVs will be used as WMO transport, a taxi service for people who are unable to use public transport due to disabilities. About 1,500 people in the Noot Personenvervoer municipality use WMO transport every year.
