Zoox's self-driving vehicle to feature fully independent active four-wheel suspension
Self-driving vehicle will have no steering wheel and dashboard implying it will be fully autonomous
Zoox's self-driving vehicle will have a fully independent active four-wheel suspension to deliver a smoother ride for passengers, Jesse Levinson, chief technology officer (CTO) and co-founder of the company said during the TechCrunch Sessions: Mobility. “If you think about it, when you drive a car, people like to feel connected to the road and feel the bumps, and it’s exciting,” Levinson said. “But if you’re a passenger in the car, you don’t want any of that. So for robotaxis, it’s sort of self-evident, you’d want it to be as smooth and comfortable as possible,” he said.
