New Product Development

The collaboration will start with optimizing Analog Devices’ transimpedance amplifiers with First Sensor’s avalanche photodiodes to offer more efficient lidar solutions

Analog Devices has teamed up with First Sensor to develop lidar solutions for autonomous driving, the company said in a press release. The two companies are mainly focusing on developing offerings that shrink lidar signal chain to enable higher system performance as well as reduce size, weight, power and costs for manufacturers designing sensing and perception technologies into their autonomous safety system. Analog Devices and First Sensor also plans to develop other lidar products for automotive and industrial applications.
