Ford expands strategic partnership with Volkswagen on autonomous driving, electrification
VW to invest USD2.6 billion in ArgoAI
Ford and Volkswagen Group (VW) have agreed to expand their strategic partnership on commercial vans and midsize pickups to include autonomous driving and electrification, the two automakers said in a press release on 12 July. Under the latest agreement, VW will join Ford in investing Argo AI, a startup spearheading autonomous driving at Ford, at a valuation of more than USD7 billion.
