BMW recalls 403 units of M3 in China over defective cable connectors

German carmaker will replace the distribution box cable with a silver-plated coating in affected vehicles, free of charge

BMW will recall some imported M3 cars in China to fix defective cable connectors, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) said in a statement last week. The recall affects about 403 M3s, produced between 28 July 2007 and 30 October 2009.
