Ford closes transmission plant in France
US automaker first announced plans to explore strategic options of its Bordeaux transmission plant, including sale, last year
On Wednesday (24 July), Ford closed its transmission plant in Bordeaux, France, nearly a week before the scheduled closure on 31 July, according a report by Agence France-Presse (AFP). The plant had 850 employees.
