HERE collaborates with SoundHound to integrate mapping and location data in Houndify platform

Collaboration will allow developers to apply HERE’s real-world location data to their applications to improve driver safety and experience

HERE Technologies has partnered with SoundHound to add its voice-first navigation experience to SoundHound’s Houndify voice artificial intelligence (AI) platform, the company said in a press release on 25 July. The partnership will allow developers to apply HERE’s real-world location data to their applications to improve driver safety and experience. Drivers will be able to activate navigation using voice commands, by simply speaking, as opposed to manually filling the information or logging on-to a secondary mobile app.
