Kater Technologies plans to start ride-hailing service in Canada’s British Columbia
Company plans to continue with its hybrid service but will foray into traditional ride hailing across the region by this fall
Kater Technology is gearing up to launch ride-hailing service in British Columbia, Canada from next month, Automotive News Canada reported on 31 July. The company currently offers, what it terms as hybrid service, in Metro Vancouver, combining a ride-hailing app with a fleet of vehicles that carry taxi licenses and are governed by taxi regulations. Kater plan to continue with its hybrid service but will foray into traditional ride-hailing across the region by this fall. The company aims to launch ride-hailing service in major cities in British Columbia by the end of 2019.
