Intel, Baidu agree to extend collaboration in AI, autonomous driving and 5G
The latest agreement between builds on 10 years partnership between Intel and Baidu
Intel has signed a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) with China-based Baidu to extend collaboration in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous driving (AD) and next-generation 5G network communication for over the next three years, the US chipmaker said in a press release on 1 August. The agreement focuses on optimizing Intel’s platforms and solutions for the cloud, AI, AD, 5G and edge computing and transforming the way Baidu’s customers consumes contents and experience its services.
