US city Austin begins autonomous vehicle testing
Through six-month trial, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport aims to determine whether the shuttle is a good fit for the airport
The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas, United States, has started a public testing of an autonomous shuttle, according to austintexas.gov, the official website of City of Austin. The EZ10 autonomous shuttle from France-based EasyMile will carry passengers from the Barbara Jordan terminal to Rental Car and Ground Transportation areas, which is also the location for the airport’s ground transportation pick-up area for taxis and ride-app services.
