Tier IV has raised about USD9 million from Taiwan-based Quanta Computer, the company said in a press release on 18 August. The funding is an extension of the company’s Series A financing round through which it raised more than USD100 million last month. As part of the financing, Tier IV and Quanta will jointly develop a new reference model of electronic control units (ECUs) for autonomous driving.
