Volkswagen (VW) invests in holographic display technology start-up SeeReal Technologies
Two companies are collaborating in the field of display technology since late last year
Volkswagen Group (VW) has invested an undisclosed amount to pick a minority stake in SeeReal Technologies, a Germany-based startup working on three-dimensional (3D) holographic technology, the automaker said in a press release on 30 August. The strategic investment will provide the German automotive group access to future-oriented augmented reality (AR) in the field of display technologies for vehicles.
