Skoda begins production of EV batteries for VW Group
The batteries produced at Mladá Boleslav plant will be used by plug-in hybrid vehicles of the VW Group’s brands, including Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen
Skoda Auto has begun production of high-voltage traction batteries at its Mladá Boleslav plant in Czech Republic, the automaker said in a press release on 6 September. The batteries produced at the Czech plant will be used in plug-in hybrid vehicles by the Volkswagen Group (VW) brands, including Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen.
